Ok, so we had this issue with a Sony RM-BR300 and some BRC300 Cameras.
The BR300 is a remote control for the BRC300 cameras (Sony Pan, Tilt, Zoom Cameras). It can control up to 7 cameras. With multiple presets per camera.
After a number of power drops, and spikes, we could no longer turn cameras off, or contol them with the BR300 controller. We could move the cameras but nothing else. I finally was able to reach someone at Sony, and they told me what to do. Here is the solution.

- You have to manually unplug each camera for about 60 seconds.
- Then make sure they are turned on so that after you have reset the unit, it finds the cameras.
- Then you need to reset the controller, the steps for that are
- With the power on, hold the Reset, Preset and L/R Direction buttons, until the buttons all flash quickly, then slow down. Release the buttons.
- Turn the unit off.
- Turn the unit back on.
- You should now have full control of the cameras and unit.
